I'm almost gender neutral!

Well, my blog is anyway! I put it through the gender analyser (thanks Ali and Ben).

We guess http://www.simone1975.blogspot.com is written by a woman (58%), however it's quite gender neutral.
Is that a good thing?

Perhaps I need more girly posts just to make it clearer that I am, in fact, female.

How does your blog rate?

  1. Me too -

    We guess http://www.dimondsinthebush.blogspot.com is written by a woman (59%), however it's quite gender neutral.

    They don't have great success rates if you look at the survey results.

  2. Our blog = 71% woman, which is about the %age of posts I write and the rest is what Peter writes.

  3. I think it's hilarious that I'm coming up as more "womanly" than you considering I
    (a) get mistaken for being a bloke when I have short hair;
    (b) am a practising engineer; and
    (c) have never given birth

    "We think http://laetitiabm.blogspot.com/ is written by a woman (64%)."

    Maybe it's all my posts referring to my being a daughter. It's either that or my recent playing with colours and adding a bit more purple / magenta to headings and things.

    Thankfully Ian comes up as being a man...though only just (53%)! Hahaha.

    Maybe the real test is to see if you can actively write as the other gender.

  4. Well, I'm 60% female, so you girls need to work harder on shifting the mean for me. And I even wrote about pirates.
