"If we can't identify the lowest achieving 10% of this country's children, then what are the school league tables for?"

After watching Torchwood tonight, I know why Julia Gillard and co. have introduced my school.  It's just good emergency planning.

    Very timely!

    We watched it. I'm hooked. The gay scenes gross us out though. Thankfully gay guy is dead so they might stop.

    If the aliens want 10% of the child population, it's helpful to be able to quickly pick which 10% will go.

    Only got around to watching it last night (thanks to the marvellous iView). I said the same thing to my wife. Got sucked in by the 'twist' - so good.

    Looking forward to day 5 tonight or tomorrow. If you let out what happens ...
