What is with...

... all the homosexuality in Torchwood?

Man. Someone has issues.

  1. It seems to be the trendy thing in UK productions - I was turned off watching the recent Agatha Christie telemovies as they kept making various characters practising homosexuals, sometimes with the threat of discovery (since it was still an illegal activity in the era of the settings of Christie's books) being a motive for murder (or cover-up that throws people off the trail of a murderer).

  2. Well, Russell T. Davies is gay, as is John Barrowman (Captain Jack) so I guess it's not too surprising. Not sure how far they are yet on ABC2... but I seem to recall hearing recently that the show's creator's admitted they overdid the "adult" content in the beginning. Still, as the great Wilde once said, all art is reflection, and Torchwood just gets better and better...
