In the interests of blogger honesty (see Ali's post), I thought I'd tell you what the top 3 most listened to songs are on my iTunes. I'm not counting the stuff that I've been involved with writing. Assume that various demos of various songs have been listened to alot... But after those, my current top 3 are:
1. Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance
2. The Tide - The Dailies
3. Now What - The Dailies
What's your top 3?
1. Sign on the Door - Kasey Chambers
ReplyDelete2. Black Horse and the Cherry Tree - KT Tunstall
3. Surrender - Kasey Chambers
And strangely enough, I wouldn't consider either of these my absolute favourite singer/songwriters, although they are among my favourites!
Wow ... so I haven't heard of any of those songs Simone (and Lara). I must be uncool.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of uncool ... I don't do iTunes or own an iPod ... but if I did I'm sure my top 3 would be:
- Lifesong - Casting Crowns
- Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
- Praise you in this storm - Casting Crowns
I have just reinstalled my iTunes library on my new laptop. So I'm going to guess.
ReplyDeleteSomething by Gomez
Something else by Gomez
Something by Muse
Okay, I'll be brave, since I'm just about to post about this business. These would be from the past week..
ReplyDelete1)Bite The Pain -Death
2)Painkiller- Judas Priest
3)A Mansion In Darkness- King Diamond
I'm not at home to check this and my iphone doesn't have 'most played' that I can find, but I suspect my list right now would be this:
ReplyDelete1. Bowie by Flight of the Conchords
2. Human of the Year by Regina Spektor
3. Stray Italian Greyhound by Vienna Teng
Thanks guys - that's given me something to listen to this weekend. I'll get back to you with what I think.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can't tell from my shuffle what I listen to most. But it would probably be:
ReplyDelete1. something by Sufjan Stevens
2. something by the Wailin' Jennys
3. something by The Audreys
[yep, a LOT of banjo...]
I didn't know you could do such a thing, so I just went fossicking in my iPod and they are all songs of The Long Fall Back to Earth by Jars of Clay - with Safe to Land at number one. I haven't had the iPod all that long and that's the only new album I've bought since, and when I get a new album I kill it (obviously). Jars of Clay are also the only "Christian band" I ever listen to, but it makes me look good for this exercise don't you think? ;)
