Frankenstein?

A prep kid told me I look like Frankenstein. It may have been an innocent comment - he was just speaking the truth in the way that kids do. My eyes are deep set. His teacher told him off.

It's got me wondering. Maybe I'll dress up next week.

  1. I haven't seen you for a while but Frankenstein doesn't immediately spring to mind when I look at your photo....

Those five year olds can be pretty up-front sometimes though, can't they?

(ps.I have a muppets especially for you today)

  2. I was once told that I looked like a Princess and then a witch by two different students in the course of one teaching day... I think it might be the 'truth' magnified times fifty! And then distorted a bit.

  3. You look like a mad scientist? I wouldn't have picked that.

  4. I don't know the kid. The fact that the teacher jumped on him so promptly makes me think that he was just being rude. But it's still worth pondering.

  5. I was babysitting some kids when I was in my mid teens, and one of them said 'you have a Roman nose'. I wasn't sure what that meant, but I've been mentally and nasally scarred ever since.

  6. He probably meant it as a compliment! Frankenstein is the boy equivalent of Cinderella.
