What I love about kids...


...That they'll spend a couple of hours copying the cover of the book they are reading. Just because they want to.

  4. I was going to put a smiley face after my comment but I would have had to slit my wrists if I had done that. So I left it be.

    You said 'I'd still do that' - You would do it, you'd like to, but the fact is that you don't. You have more pressing matters and copying a book cover just for the fun of it is hard for a grown up to justify. But it shouldn't be. What a great recreational activity! Better than telly.

  5. Oh, the jovial smiley face was definitely understood, no worries there. I hope mine was also read in between the lines. Although my attempts at humour even in real life seem to have been shot down this week...

    So does it count if I draw one tomorrow? Or does that discount its validity as it's in response to this post?
