Fraser Island has all of the above, as long as you go to the right parts. And you can even get mobile reception at lake mackenzie if you know the right place to stand.
Forgot to add that we love Fraser Island. We used to camp there every Easter before we had kids...we would bushwalk with out packs from the Wanggoolba barge landing into Lake MacKenzie. And we went with the kids (in the 4WD we owned by then) when Ben was 2.5 and Joanna was 8 months - four wheel driving is great for rocking little kids to sleep! We would have probably kept going each Easter if we hadn't moved to the other side of the big ditch.
Yes, you can cope without the internet. Solitude is good. Are you camping? What's with the no electricity?
