new passions

I've spent today simultaneously indulging my two new passions: Angel and pre-move house decluttering. I've watched 8 episodes of Angel and finished sorting the kids rooms. All of their clothes and toys are organised. I've filled our bin and probably half filled a life-line bin.

Can't wait for more...

[Thanks Anthony for the suggestion that I make this house move my new project!]

  1. It was the obvious suggestion ;-)

I got all fastidious and transformed the kids' cupboards from random piles of clothes stuffed on shelves to tidy piles that leave space between each other. I hadn't believed it was possible! So I share your sense of achievement...

  2. Though not one of my achievements today, I do relate to the tidy piles with space between each other creating a sense of satisfaction. Sadly the kids don't seem to feel the same satisfaction seeing them that way so it usually only lasts a few weeks before the random piles re-emerge.

  3. You're aware that Lifeline and possibly other such charities will deliver a wheelie bin to you for you to fill up rather than make lots of trips to their big bins? From memory you get about two weeks with the bin before they collect it or you can call them for an earlier collection if you fill it before then.

  4. The kids are impressed with my work. I cleaned out the 'cupboard of doom' AND the dress up crate. The dress up crate is huge and houses everything the kids can't be bothered putting away properly.

Angel helped. Two discs left of season one...

  5. Angel always helps. And it only gets better from season one.

  7. Angel is a fantastic show! I'm with Mark. Season one is nothing compared to the rest of the show. It gets much better down the track.
