I am personally less concerned about the amount teachers are paid (though I do think they deserve more) than the fact that once you have taught for ten years, then you are paid the same amount for the rest of your career, unless the unions argue for more, or you become a principal.
So is it the usual thing of negotiating terms for the new enterprise bargaining agreement?
