I have three that I regularly wear. Four now. Bought a new one today. And there's another in Colorado that I'd like. I'll watch the price drop over the next few months then get it.
A friend thinks brown and blue are the colours of presbyterian women (conservative and a little dull?) I don't do blue, but I love brown. Understated. Subtle. Surely it's a colour a woman with a gentle and quiet spirit should be wearing!
So long as you wear them with sensible brown shoes!
ReplyDeletewhat's wrong with sensible brown shoes i'm up to pair 10 and brown skirt 15.
ReplyDeleteKate, I affirm you in your clothes choices! Can I suggest that a dark maroon or black shirt sets off the brown skirt quite nicely?
ReplyDeleteWe should skype some time - it's been ages!
And Michelle. You look lovely in brown, but overall I think of you as a blue person. How many brown skirts do you have in circulation?
ReplyDeleteHi Guys,
ReplyDeleteI have no brown skirts - just for the reocrd.
Sorry. Got the wrong blog. This seems to be the blog for the PWA...
Hey Linden. I've got a couple of brown skirts that I've moved out of circulation. Would you like one? You could wear it to PWA...l
ReplyDeleteI don't have any brown skirts, but I just got new brown carpet in my house. Does that count for anything?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should be a presbyterian afterall - I have at least 3 brown skirts, but you are right, I also wear a lot of blue.
ReplyDeleteNo sensible brown shoes though - my new favourites have a stiletto heel and antique buckle around the ankle.
Its getting too cold down here now for skirts ...will save them up for Brisbane next week.
Linden, I thought you were going back to Brisbane to run the PWA... you mean thats not your new job?
just thinking I may never to return to a presbyterian church again... but you guys are GREAT for a laugh :)
ReplyDeleteI love brown too, though I tend to go for brown accessories, like bags, shoes and beige/off white. But I hate black. Glad to hear of some other 'brownies' out there :-)
