Sunday school over for the year.
Last night's talk prepared and delivered.
No songwriting to do for the next 10 days at least.
Schools are on holidays so no work.
Nothing to do at all!
Except grocery shopping and cooking and laundry and cleaning the house and two kids talks for church this weekend...
Hmm. I have an idea for a poem. I think I'll work on that.
Whereas I woke up this morning, and casually enquired about whether the church playgroup was on today. 'Yes, you're doing the story' says Jude.
ReplyDeleteI swear I never knew! Providentially, I was able to reuse a component of the school assembly.
I'm cheating on one of the kids talks, and showing one of the Jesus Storybook Bible animations.
We're spending the long weekend scraping the paint off our window frames, right back to the bare timber and repainting them. We have 7 windows to do (6 of them are really large) plus 2 sets of french doors, so we will see how much we get done in 4 days!
ReplyDeleteMel - that's huge!
ReplyDeleteYou know things are bad when you procrastinate on doing something that should be fun (because there's a deadline) with something that most people wouldn't consider as fun but you do.
ReplyDeleteI procrastinated on doing a StoryBook because I needed to get it done before we left for Easterfest (I had to use some vouchers by the end of Friday). What did I use for procrastination? My TAFE assignment. The assignment at the moment is a bit like doing a Sudoku puzzle.
