Ben's blog is just the best. If you don't read it, you should.
His recent posts on Sunday night Austen have been hilarious. Totally inaccurate, of course, but so funny! Ben claims that Jane Austen novels are just dressed up Mills and Boone. Over the next few days I hope to blog some M&B analysis to see if this is correct.

Oh, but the only problem is that I assume you are going to READ Mills and Boone to conduct this analysis?! Eeek ... :)

ReplyDeleteI've not read a M&B, so not sure whether Ben's right or not. I agree though, his blog is fantastic! I laughed so much in his Northanger Abbey post.

My senior English teacher called them Bills & Moon - a rather apt spoonerism if you ask me. Ever since then I've referred to them as Bills & Moon.
