We have local farms that grow ladyfinger bananas, so this week I have finally started buying them again from the local fruit and veg shops that gets stock locally. Only $4.99 a kilo. And after many banana-less months, they taste amazing....
Four dollars up here, at the right shop.

Helen - how much are they at the Andergrove Village (IGA?) supermarket? That's the little set of shops away from Woolies, near Pittman St.
